BOE and ECB – expected market reactions and moves

After yesterday’s some drop EURO and GBP made the swing and rise moves during Japanese session.

They are expected to continue the rise during early part of European session.

A dip ( a false move before data release) before BOE rate announcement time (12:00 GMT) may be seen to make further gaining move after the announcement.Athen ECB is expected to announce the rate decision by 12;45 GMT – the market may slide from there till ECB press conference by 13:30 GMT- a brief drop during that time may be seen followed by gaining moves towards close of European session (14:00 GMT)

US session is expected to make swing and rise moves.

these are the expected volatile moves during european session derived from the forecast model.Actual market may show some variation – hence use the market reading technica of identifying the type of moves to determine the fine tuned expected market moves to take your trading decisions.Still use the trading strategies to limit the risk and maximize the profit.

After NFP

EURO and GBP made a quick rise after good NFP numbers.Since traders are all long the players dropped and given the impression good US data then USD gaining move.During US session they are expected to give risk appetite story and rise EURO and GBP for week end.

intentional move may continue

After gaining aggressively levels for 3 days - the extended move- EURO and GBP have commenced the slide- the intentional moev.They may continue the slide during US session.

Tomorrow after some 2 hrs of upward extended move they may continue the slde for week end.

Monday we may see week beginning false move on the downside.later the rise may commence in them from next week.

These are the types of market moves derived based on the forecast model- there may be deviations in the maeket- expected market moves may be used only as reference information.

NFP VS Fitch downgrades

For week end either way moves were seen after NFP and Fitch downgrades.

EURO and GBP were holding near the high set for the day before NFP. After positive
data they went up with the attribute –“risk appetite”. Later, a timely
announcement of Fitch downgrade made EURO and GBP drop more than the gains made
after NFP

.Is Fitch downgrade is more influential data than NFP? Also

Fitch downgrade was pertaining to EURO, then why all other currencies started making
USD gaining moves?

The market gained after NFP data and dropped – ………………

to my understanding, when all developed risk appetite sentiment and willing to buy
EURO and GBP on dips ,those who bought already at lower levels booked profit.

On Friday most of the traders were keeping on sideline to know the outcome of NFP
before committing positions. The visible rise was seen after NFP. But the move
was so quick and then the traders waited for the dip to take buy positions. Not
a bad idea……. But after the dip a small gain was seen to respect technical ,but
fundamental news Fitch downgrade was released. The market developed EURO
weakening sentiments. Other majors also followed the sentiment. So a data from
one country can influence a currency, that leads to over all sentiments, then
all other currencies follow the sentiments. Then the sentiment change from time
to time.

Hence we find many traders want to know more
about the fundaments – “market sentiments” - and technical – “levels”.

But still not able to understand why sentiments are created and quickly changed ,the
levels are shown many times but perceived differently - eg- when EURO was
holding 1.3440 area before NFP it was perceived as high - after NFP release
EURO went up to 1.3524 and dropped then 1.3440 was looking attractive to buy
near the new support. But EURO dropped further down looking for lower supports.

This is the story of market - repeated every time ….replayed every time.It appears that market is something more than this.it may become essential for us to explore to sustain in the market with full understanding of volatilities and timings of such volatilities

A drop may lead to gain again

EURO and GBP made the drop after yesterday US session gains.Lower level wide range swings are to build profit with the initial long positions before making higher level longs to gain levels in the market- that way the average value of the longs could be still below market level - a safe play strategy of the players.

During Japanese session swing and slide moves are expected.

European session may show early session dip and then firming up towards close of the session.

US session may show eitherway volatile moves - a quick gain followed by quick drop and slow gain there after during the session.

USD/CHF and USD/CAD may gain more levels after yesterday's downward stop hunts.

AUD is expected to slowly lose the levels in coming days.

USD/YEN and YEN crosses may quickly drop and gain big in coming days.

Contrarian moves may be seen mostly to handle crosses during lower level consoludation time.

slow gains

EURO and GBP opened low and dropped during japanese session to gain slowly from early european session.they are expected to gain further towards close of the session.US session may show swing and further gain moves.

Tomorrow again open low and gaining moves may be seen.Slow gains are intentional moves.After quick drop we see the slow gains to induce short sellering thinking that they are pull backs.More gains are expected in EURO and GBP in this week.USD/CHF is expected to swing and gain more.

USD/YEN and YEN crosses may drop and gain during this week to gain more.After quick drop YEN crosses may show one sided gains along with USD/YEN

USD/CAD has reached parity as expected.It may gain and swing in the range of 1.01-0.9950 area for some time and then gain more.Aud is expected to slowly lose levels and trade below parity in this month.

EURO/GBP may also show further drop in the course of this month.

Lower level consolidation

EURO and GBP are now making lower level consolidation with downward stop hunt moves.Against higher level sells the players are buying.USD/YEN and USD/CHF are gaining levels for week end as reversal from multi year trend reversal moves.

if we see the net change in EURO and GBP we can understand that prolonged lower level holding is to induce higher level long holders to liquidate fior week end.

next week EURO and GBP are expected to swing and gain when USD/CHF and USD/YEN also gain as contrarian move.

market awaits major events

Today BOE interest rate decision is to be announced by 11:00 GMt,ECB is to announce by 11:45 GMT.ECB press conference is by 12:30 GMT.Same time US trade deficit and unemployment claims are to be announced.Then by 17:30 GMT the Fed Chairman speech is there.

In a action packed day the traders are waiting sidel;ine to know the out come of the events one by one.In the absence of traders commitment of positions the market players may make subdued moves to handle the crosses .

Japanese session was expected to show swing and firm up move.Then early European session rise was expected.But the market was making subdued moves.

Now late european session during announcements the market is expected to drop.Since the rise was subdued the drop may also be subdued.

US session may show swing and rise move - since the speech is by 17:30 GMT- the players may make somw either way swings during early US session.After speech there may be a rise.If volume is low then the rise may also be short lived.

Tomorrow no major trigger event is seen.So for week end the players may make either way volatile moves in EURO and GBP.USD/YEN,USD/CHF,USD/CAD and AUD may make USD gaining moves for week end.

Volatile moves

EURO and GBP made the expected volatile moves.they are again expected to gain levels during US session.USD/CHF gained along with CHF crosses after week beginning false dip.We are pleased with intervention story.But last week when USD/CHF made the drop before NFP- there were comments that SNB could not continue to weaken CHF.Now after all the stopout of the long holders USd/CHF gained along with its crosses.So those had margin fear and over tradered condition were not able to get the benefit even though they perceived the market well.This is a lesson to understand.Over trading only make traders panic even though the market makes their expected moves after false move.

Tomorrow higher level consolidations may be seen in EURO abnd GBP to gain further levels in their CHF crosses.Then On thursday we may see again USD gaining moves.

During that time frame we may see quick drop and quick rise moves in USD/YEN and YEN crosses as they are all comingout of multi year levels.

week beginning moves

During early japanese session Majors were making contrarian moves - all the majors showed negative net changes.But the commodity pairs were showing USD gaining moves.

Now During European session after an early drop EURO and GBP are expected to firm up towards close of the session.US session may show swing and drop moves - but due to holiday if the volume comes down then a slide may be seen.

Tomorrow swing and rise moves may be seen to slide again from Wedneday onwards.

USD/YEN may undergo a quick drop and quick rise move today.After Friday extended drop USD/CHF is expected to rise from now on in this week.Commodity pairs may lead and show USD gaining moves in this week.

Bad NFP- USD weakening move/risk aversion move

NFP data is below market expectations.Traders expected upward rally in EURO and GBP when USD/CHF and EURO/CHF made the downward rally.But the players change played the trick now to make USD gaining move in the name of risk aversion.We need to understand this came to trade following the players moves.After NFP data release they gained the levels in EURO and GBP and AUD- but they did not do upward stop hunt above initial high in them excepting GBP that they did to drop EURO/GBP.

USD/CHF drop in thin volume condition before NFP was mainly to create the USD bearish sentiments before hand.Now the players acted against the market sentiment.Nominal downward swings they may do during US session and keep rest of the drops to next week.In the process USD is expected to gain more in this month.
